Hello! I'm from Melbourne Beach, Florida, and I'm currently in my final semester at UNF in the School of Computing. During my time at UNF, I've been actively involved in the surf club, combining my love for technology with coastal lifestyle. My interest in computing and technology was sparked by my brother, who taught me early on about desktop computers and how they work.
Currently, I work for a railroad consultant and am pursuing a career in the transportation industry, specifically in locomotive-related fields. Through my work, I've had the exciting opportunity to travel internationally to London and Kenya, as well as extensive domestic travel along the West Coast working with the ports. This exposure to global transportation systems has deepened my interest in the field.
Outside of work and studies, my greatest joy in life is my dog, whom I proudly adopted and trained myself. I'm enthusiastic about making technology my career and hope to combine my passion for transportation with innovative technological solutions.
One of my biggest passions is working on classic cars, particularly Toyota pickup trucks. I currently own two Toyota pickups: a 1982 model that I'm restoring and a 1978 that I use for parts. This hobby allows me to combine my love for mechanical work with problem-solving skills.
When I'm not working on vehicles, I run a car detailing side business, taking pride in bringing vehicles back to their showroom shine. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, dog, and girlfriend. To wind down after a busy day, I like to play video games, which helps me relax and stay connected with friends.
Though I was born in Florida, I spent my formative years in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where I attended middle and high school at Parkland High School. The excellent school system there provided me with a strong educational foundation. After high school, I always knew I wanted to return to Florida for college due to having more family here for support, and the beautiful weather didn't hurt my decision at all.
My decision to return to Florida has proven to be the right choice. I began my college journey at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), where I earned my associate's degree. I'm now in my final semester at the University of North Florida, completing my bachelor's degree in Computing, which marks an exciting culmination of my academic journey.
