About Me

Hello! My name is Talia, I am 30 years old and I am currently senior at the University_of_North_Florida.

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, I joined the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technican, which had brought me to Jacksonville,Fl. I worked on P-3C Orions and P-8A Posidens for 8 years. My years as a technical troubleshooter has pushed me to continue in the technical industry.

I currently work at the UNF Military Veteran Resource Center. We help all students using VA benefits for college. Even though it has not helped with my career it brings me so much joy to help vets that are lost, like I was, with options they have to better themselves.

This past September, I married my best friend, Josh and together we share our two dogs, Zeus and Rocky. After I graduate we will be moving to Charlotte, NC and I'm looking forward to start a new chapter both personally and professionally.

Hobbies & Interests

Since childhood I have always been into video games, especially more to stay connected with friends and family who are accross the country. I have continuously been the go-to for managing our game servers so that we can continue to all play together.

From my time in the Navy I never had any other hobbies, but since seperating, I have been exploring new hobbies.

So far I have enjoyed gardening, painting, and creating earrings. I have also enjoyed my husbands hobbies of camping, hiking, trailriding with our dogs.

Education

Orginally was attending Excelsior College online, but transfered full time to the University of North Florida, where I am currently pursing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. I will be graduating May 2025.
