Hello my name is Gabriel! I'm twenty years old and am currently a junior level college student at the University of North Florida. I am double majoring in Information Systems and Philosophy.
A few facts about me are that I was born in Savannah, Georgia, but moved around alot as a kid and even lived in Townsville, Australia for a few years at one point. I love listening to and playing music with my friends and my favorite genres are metal, rap, rock and jazz. I also have a dog named Mario and he is a mix between a shih tzu and a poodle.
My two biggest hobbies are playing the guitar and reading books. I've been playing the guitar for around five years and was inspired to pick up the hobby through listening to rock and metal artists like Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Led Zeppelin. I currently play in a "Screamo" music band with my friends. We write and record our own original music and also play shows in the Florida music scene.
As for reading, I love to read books on most every subject but I primarily enjoy reading about philosophy, history, economics, politics and classical fiction. Some of my favorite books are "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, "Republic" by Plato, and "Nicomachean Ethics" by Aristotle.
My current educational goal is to complete my two bachelor's degrees in information systems and philosophy. After this I plan on attending graduate school to study philosophy further, and eventually achieve a master's degree and then a PhD.
My primary goal is to eventually become a professor of philosophy at a reputable university.
